REIS MAGOS INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC

The Reis Magos International Music Festival is a 3-day celebration of music and cultural heritage in Goa. The festival was a joint collaboration between the Deccan Heritage Foundation, the Dempo Group, Helen Hamlyn Trust, INTACH and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The festival was themed on “The Sea”. It was a celebration of the sea through music and a reflection on heritage and conservation issues important to Goa.
The logo for this festival is a dynamic, typographic stacking of its name. The long name proved advantageous in recreating the distinctive silhouette of the Reis Magos Fort through words. The silhouette of the dome was used as differentiating visual on the logo. Tones of bright orange colours of the identity are strongly offset by grayscale imagery on the stationery as well as on the marketing brochure.
